Genreal Rules of Discipline

Every student has to observe discipline, decorum and proudly contribute to the academic ambience of the college. Students must treat each other with dignity and spirit of friendship to create a harmonious student community.

Every student must attend every lecture, tutorial and practical/lab classes and all the session of curricular activities. Each student is assigned a faculty member as a Mentor/Class Coordinator, who will track the academic performance of that student, communicate with the parents if the student is absent from the class and interact with the student on any issue, which creates hindrance for the student to adapt him self / her self to the established atmosphere of the college.

As per the university ordinance a student is required to attend 75% of total lectures delivered in each paper during a semester. A student shall be liable for detention in one or more university examinations in which he fails to attend the classes. Relaxation as per Punjabi University, Patiala and Bar Council of India rules is admissible.

Students are required to be in proper uniform in the College, dress code should be strictly followed by the students.

Students must ensure 75% attendance in classes and practical’s attendance is also compulsory in sectional examination of university.

The college will take action as per its rules/ manual with respect to issues related to all curricular and co-curricular activities in the College campus, either on its own or on the basis of representation made by the faculty and student concerned.

Mobile phone is strictly prohibited in classrooms, library, corridors, stairs etc.

Students should not enter in the faculty room without permission from the concerned teacher or Head of Department.
